Job summary

SpaceX seeks an Internal Communications Manager to advise senior executives, guide change programs, and unify culture across Hawthorne/Bay Area locations. You will craft leadership communications, establish standards, and manage the intranet to ensure consistent messaging.

This role requires strategic thinking, exceptional writing, and the ability to drive cross-functional initiatives. Travel is limited to under 10%, and the position is on-site at SpaceX with a comprehensive benefits package

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in business/organizational communications.
• Experience in internal communications and change management is preferred.
• Experience using AI tools to draft and scale communications.

• Advise executives on gaps and opportunities and translate them into plans.
• Lead change communications for company-wide initiatives.
• Build a connected culture across divisions and locations.
• Develop internal leadership speaking programs.
• Set communications standards and channel usage.
• Own and scale the intranet with style guides and templates.

• Shape announcements and narratives.
• Use AI to scale communications and increase impact.
