Job summary

SpaceX is seeking an Internal Communications Manager to advise senior executives on gaps and opportunities, turning them into plans that keep employees informed, aligned, and engaged. The role also leads change communications for company-wide initiatives and builds a connected culture across divisions and locations.

You will set strategy, manage the intranet, and guide leadership communications, ensuring consistency between internal and external messages while leveraging AI to scale impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• 5+ years of professional experience in business/organizational communications
• Experience leading internal communications and change initiatives
• Strong writing and storytelling abilities
• Ability to translate executive vision into broad employee communications

Responsibilities

• Advise senior executives on communications gaps and opportunities; translate them into actionable plans
• Lead change communications for company-wide initiatives to inform and engage employees
• Build a connected culture across divisions, locations, and teams
• Develop and lead leadership speaking programs (live, filmed, etc.)
• Set communications strategy and channel standards to reach audiences effectively
• Own and scale the intranet with style guides and templates
• Manage internal communications in crises and ensure message consistency
• Shape major announcements and narratives, ensuring alignment with external messaging
• Leverage AI to scale communications and improve quality and impact
• Define metrics for communications and adjust strategies accordingly
