Job summary

A healthcare staffing organization is seeking an Interim Director of Medical Staff Services to manage the Medical Staff Services Department. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) and knowledge of JC, DHS, and HIPAA standards. This is a full-time W2 contract position located in the United States, providing competitive weekly compensation and benefits including paid sick leave and health insurance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required, Master's preferred.
• Knowledge of JC, DHS, HIPAA Standards, and medical terminology required.
• CPMSM certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and direct the Medical Staff Services Department.
• Direct the credentialing process for Medical Staff and Allied Health Professionals.
• Maintain communication between Hospital Administration and Medical Staff.

Skills

Knowledge of JC, DHS, and HIPAA Standards

Knowledge of medical terminology

Computer skills: Word, Outlook, Excel

Certified Professional Medical Services Management (CPMSM) certification

Education
