Job summary

Zurich North America is seeking an Integrated Communications Specialist to join our Chicago-area team. This individual contributor role focuses on planning, writing and measuring external communications across owned, earned, paid and shared channels.

The ideal candidate will be a strong writer, adept at managing multiple projects and learning technical concepts while collaborating with subject matter experts across businesses. Hybrid schedule in Schaumburg or Chicago.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Communications/Marketing/PR.
2+ years in Communications/PR or related field.
Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice pathway with related experience.

Responsibilities

Develop external content including press releases, talking points, Q&As, media statements and web copy.
Support integrated communication plans to advance business goals and reputation.
Identify media opportunities; draft pitches and nominations; respond to inquiries.
Prepare media training and briefing materials for executives.
Track and report on communications impact and engagement.
