Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA designation required.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting and financial reporting experience within the insurance industry.
• Strong expertise in life insurance and/or annuity accounting and reporting.
• Deep understanding of SAP, GAAP, statutory reporting, and insurance regulatory requirements.
• Proven leadership experience managing and developing high-performing teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the preparation and delivery of timely, accurate financial statements in SAP and GAAP; ensure statutory reporting.
• Lead quarterly and annual reporting to management, board, regulators, and external stakeholders.
• Maintain compliance with insurance regulatory requirements and coordinate with auditors.
• Manage monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
• Provide strategic financial leadership to executive leadership and business units.
