Job summary

Alvin Community College is seeking an Operations Coordinator to support Instructional Operations, Dual Enrollment, and TDCJ programs. You will coordinate scheduling, faculty support, and partner communications across multiple sites to ensure smooth instructional delivery.

This role requires a Bachelor’s degree and at least three years in higher education administration or related fields; willingness to obtain TDCJ security clearance is essential. Travel to partner sites will be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a related field.
• Minimum three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in higher education administration or related area.
• Ability to obtain and maintain TDCJ security clearance and comply with access requirements.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate program schedules, instructional resources, and operational activities across school district and TDCJ partner sites.
• Serve as a primary operational contact among the College, ISD and TDCJ partners, faculty, and academic/administrative departments.
• Support faculty and partner-site instructional needs; resolve scheduling, access, resource, and operational issues.
• Implement applicable College, partner, contractual, regulatory, security, confidentiality, and documentation requirements.
• Maintain and improve workflows, records, reporting practices, and coordination processes; use program data to recommend improvements.
• Support cross-department initiatives that advance student access, enrollment, student success, and sustainable program delivery.
