Job summary

After School Matters (ASM) in Chicago is seeking an Institutional Giving Manager to grow and sustain institutional partnerships that support Chicago teens. This full-time role advances ASM’s fundraising strategy, secures and develops a pipeline of institutional support, and leads grant development and reporting.

You will supervise the Grant Writer, work with Finance on budgets, and coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely, high-quality submissions and fulfillment of funder requirements.

Qualifications

• Extensive grant writing experience with donor communications.
• Proven success securing 5- to 6-figure gifts from corporations and foundations.
• Strong collaboration across Programs, Finance, and Evaluation teams.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead prospecting and manage grants portfolio for the organization.
• Prepare budgets and grant submissions in collaboration with Finance.
• Supervise the Grant Writer and ensure timely, high-quality proposals and reports.
• Maintain donor records and ensure compliance with funder requirements.
• Coordinate internal teams to deliver high-quality project deliverables.
