Job summary

AstraZeneca is seeking an Insights and Forecasting Director to lead analytics, forecasting, and AI-enabled decision support across the organization. You will translate complex data into actionable business guidance, manage teams and external partners, and drive adoption of digital tooling.

You will collaborate with strategy, commercial, finance, and operations, balancing pace, governance, and business value while ensuring responsible AI practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 7+ years of relevant experience in insights, analytics, forecasting, or decision support.
• Experience applying qualitative and quantitative methods to business questions.
• Strong ability to forecast, analyze, and communicate results to leadership.
• Experience adopting digital/AI-enabled tools and data sources.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and delivery of insights, analytics, forecasting, and AI-enabled decision support.
• Translate business questions into research and analysis plans.
• Synthesize data from multiple sources to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Develop dashboards and targets aligned to business priorities and goals.
• Build forecasting models with scenarios and leading indicators.
• Drive adoption of digital and AI-enabled tools and workflows.
• Evaluate emerging tools to improve predictive accuracy and readiness.
• Ensure responsible AI, governance, and robust documentation.
• Present findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
• Collaborate across functions to align priorities and actions.
• Support forward-looking analysis and scenario planning.
