AstraZeneca is seeking a Director, Regulatory AI Business Partner to bridge AI for Clinical Development with Regulatory across the enterprise. You will steer AI opportunities, ensure governance, and align with regulatory requirements while delivering measurable value.

The role requires strong stakeholder management, deep regulatory understanding, and fluency between technical and business teams, in a fast-moving, matrix environment.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in AI/ML, data science, health informatics, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in digital health, AI/ML, or technology-driven environments with exposure to Regulatory.
• Demonstrated stakeholder management with senior leaders across functions.
• Ability to translate between technical teams and business/domain audiences.
• Familiarity with AI governance, regulatory compliance, and regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary business partner between AI for Clinical Development and Regulatory across the enterprise.
• Advise where AI adds value within Regulatory digital roadmap and align with enterprise capabilities.
• Ensure responsible and compliant AI practices in regulated settings; flag regulatory implications early.
• Interface with IT, data teams, and governance stakeholders to enable productionized AI capabilities.
• Coordinate shared AI efforts across functions to leverage common investments.
