Job summary

MELE Associates, Inc. in Germantown, MD is seeking a senior insider threat professional to collect and analyze policy information and support the NNSA Insider Protection Program through enterprise-wide risk mitigation.

The ideal candidate has 7 years in cybersecurity, federal contracting experience, and active clearance eligibility with specific CERT credentials; this is a full-time on-site role with travel.

Qualifications

• 7 years’ experience in cybersecurity or security related field.
• 1 year experience supporting a federal agency or cleared federal contractor Insider Threat program.
• Obtain within 1 year: CERT Insider Threat Program Manager Certificate; CERT Insider Risk Management Measures of Effectiveness Certificate; Certified Counter-Insider Threat Professional (Fundamentals & Analysis).
• A bachelor’s degree or similar credential may be substituted for 4 years of experience.
• Active Q or TS clearance w/ SCI eligibility or Favorably adjudicated Tier V personnel security background investigation not more than 4.5 years from proposed entry onto contract.

Responsibilities

• Collects and analyzes policy information to support insider threat prevention, detection, and response.
• Formulates NNSA policy positions to provide enterprise-wide insider threat risk mitigation strategies.
• Develops data access strategies for insider threat analysis from multiple sources.
• Develops processes to track actions from findings and coordinate DOE ITP annual reports.
