Job summary

Master Halco is seeking an Inside Sales Associate to service contractors, distributors, and retailers from our branch counter and over the phone. You will work with the outside sales team to expand products and the customer base, processing quotes and orders with a focus on timely delivery.

Typical hours are Monday–Friday, 8 am–5 pm, with quarterly bonuses, spiffs, and a strong health care plan. The company also offers a generous 401(k) match, tuition reimbursement, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent work experience.
• 1-3 years of customer service/sales experience.
• Excellent phone and customer-facing experience.
• Strong communication skills (verbal & written).
• Computer literate and proficient in MS applications (EXCEL required).

Responsibilities

• Partner with the outside sales team to expand products and customer base.
• Collects market intelligence from customers regarding competitive situations, competitor pricing, market situations, and informs the Branch Manager.
• Take inbound phone calls and emails from contractors and retail customers to process quotes and orders in a timely manner.
• Consult with clients/customers after sales to provide ongoing support.
• Prepares job order quotations based on customer requests and information.
• Communicate by phone or email with customers from the time of order to the time of shipment.
