Job summary

Champion Home Builders, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager, Strategic Initiatives, to drive high-priority programs across Builder Developer and Champion Construction Services.

The role partners with Operations, Technology, Finance, Marketing, and Engineering to improve processes, implement scalable systems, strengthen reporting, and ensure adoption from planning through execution. The ideal candidate will manage charters, roadmaps, resources, and governance while leading cross-functional teams

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, PM, operations, construction management, info systems, or related field; or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years leading cross-functional projects, initiatives, or system implementations.
• Experience documenting requirements, mapping processes, coordinating testing and deployment, and enabling adoption.
• Ability to influence, drive accountability, and move teams from analysis to execution.
• Strong executive communication, presentation, and meeting facilitation skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 apps, including advanced Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic projects for Builder Developer and Champion Construction Services from definition to implementation.
• Develop charters, workplans, timelines, resources, governance, and business cases.
• Partner with leaders to identify challenges, gaps, and opportunities for standardization and scalability.
• Map current-state processes and design future-state workflows and standards.
• Define business requirements, scopes, plans, and change impacts for improvements.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to design, test, deploy, and sustain new processes and dashboards.
• Provide dashboards, scorecards, KPIs, and analyses to strengthen leadership decisions.
• Monitor performance, adoption, risks, and dependencies; elevate decisions with recommendations.
