Job summary

Wayne-Sanderson Farms is seeking a Strategic Initiatives Project Manager to lead enterprise-wide initiatives from planning to delivery and to work with executives and teams across the organization. The role emphasizes structure, data-driven decisions, and on-time delivery.

You will develop plans, monitor risks, and report progress while influencing outcomes without direct authority. Strong PMO/transformation experience and communication skills are essential for driving accountability and impact.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in project management or PMO roles.
• Experience leading cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
• Experience creating project plans, reports, dashboards, and documentation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate projects from planning through completion.
• Develop project plans, timelines, milestones, budgets, and success measures.
• Manage priorities, dependencies, risks, and resources across multiple workstreams.
• Monitor progress and address obstacles impacting delivery.
• Partner with business leaders to drive project execution and accountability.
• Facilitate project meetings, governance reviews, and executive updates.
• Communicate project status, key decisions, and risks to stakeholders and leadership.
• Maintain project dashboards, reports, action logs, and documentation.
