Job summary

Harbor Logistics is seeking a Director of Strategy & Operations to own the company's most important strategic initiatives from problem framing to execution. You will work directly with the CEO in North Charleston, SC, leading cross-functional teams across sales, operations, finance, HR and IT with high autonomy.

You will absorb large data sets, align on goals, drive analyses, and distill options into actionable recommendations.

Qualifications

• Strategic analysis: break ambiguous problems into parts and justify recommendations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for executive audiences.
• Proven ability to manage cross-functional initiatives from framing through execution.
• Fluency with AI tools and modern project-management software in daily work.

Responsibilities

• Lead the company's highest-priority strategic initiatives from framing to decision and execution.
• Build analysis behind major decisions, stress-test assumptions and source data.
• Coordinate cross-functionally across sales, operations, finance, HR and IT to ensure alignment.
• Draft concise memos and communicate decisions clearly to the CEO and leadership team.
