Job summary

GiveDirectly is building a lean internal consulting team to evaluate external opportunities that could increase delivery capacity. This role offers high autonomy to develop a comprehensive set of options and rigorously evaluate, prioritize, and implement them, reporting to the Chief of Staff and working with our Executive team and partners.

The work is early-stage with a mandate to influence delivery of hundreds of millions of dollars and has potential to become a permanent function beyond 2027.

Qualifications

• Ability to translate broad mandates into concrete options with milestones.
• Strong analytical instincts to generate data-driven insights.
• Experience negotiating with institutions and partners.
• Clear, direct communication with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Build and prioritize a portfolio of options and rank by scale, speed, feasibility and cost.
• Pressure test opportunities with primary diligence and stakeholder engagement.
• Advance priorities into live pilots and coordinate cross-functional work.
• Define and run competitive solicitations with clear requirements.
• Lead engagements with institutional counterparties from first contact to signed agreements.
• Equip Executive decision-making with analyses and written recommendations.
