Colby College is seeking a Director of Planning and Strategy to advance the institution's strategic priorities and coordinate cross-functional initiatives across the campus.

The role reports to the Vice President of Planning and Strategy and partners with senior leaders to translate priorities into action, conduct research and analysis, and prepare executive materials and proposals to support decision-making and funding opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
• Five or more years of progressively responsible experience in strategic planning, higher education administration, or related field.
• Demonstrated experience leading complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
• Experience developing high-level written materials, presentations, proposals, or executive communications.
• Experience developing successful foundation, government, or other external funding proposals.

Responsabilités

• Lead College-wide strategic initiatives with work plans, coordinating stakeholders, timelines, and deliverables.
• Serve as a strategic partner to senior leadership, providing analysis and recommendations to advance priorities.
• Lead external funding development and institutional research with Advancement and other offices.
• Draft, edit, design, and curate reports, presentations, and briefing materials for senior leadership and Board.
• Facilitate meetings and planning processes; represent leadership in campus and external engagements.
