Colby College in Waterville, ME seeks a Director of Planning and Strategy to advance institutional priorities, translate strategy into action, and lead cross-functional initiatives from concept to execution.

Reporting to the Vice President of Planning and Strategy, you will manage research, analyses, and executive communications, develop proposals and briefing materials, and help pursue external funding opportunities with foundations and government partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
• Five+ years of progressively responsible experience in strategic planning, higher education administration, project/program management, institutional strategy, external funding development, consulting, public policy, or related field.
• Demonstrated experience leading complex projects or initiatives involving multiple stakeholders and organizational units.
• Demonstrated experience conducting research and analysis and translating findings into actionable recommendations.
• Experience developing high-level written materials, presentations, proposals, or executive communications.

Responsabilités

• Lead College-wide strategic initiatives, develop work plans, coordinate stakeholders, establish timelines and deliverables, and drive projects to completion.
• Provide analysis, recommendations, and regular updates to advance institutional priorities with senior leadership.
• Research and planning studies to inform priorities, evaluate opportunities, and support decision-making.
• Draft, edit, design, and curate reports, presentations, briefing materials, and executive communications.
