Job summary

Southern Company Services is seeking an Infrastructure Programs & Projects Manager to lead a team of professionals focused on planning, governing, prioritizing, and delivering programs and projects for Infrastructure Services. The role emphasizes strategic partnerships with the Technology Organization and business units to drive measurable value.

You will guide budgeting, governance, and strategic planning while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Eight or more years in technology, program or project management, process improvement or related disciplines.
• Four or more years leading cross-functional teams, strategic initiatives, programs or projects.
• Two or more years working with IT budgets or cost allocation.
• Experience governing, prioritizing, and delivering multiple concurrent projects and initiatives.
• Experience developing business cases, investment recommendations, and organizational budgets.
• Experience working with executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Governance, strategic planning, organizational effectiveness, and project delivery practices.
• Experience leading organizational change and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead governance and execution of infrastructure programs and projects.
• Partner with Technology Organization and business units to align priorities and funding.
• Develop and manage program budgets, business cases, and investment recommendations.
• Foster accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement across teams.
• Engage executive leadership, stakeholders, and external partners to prioritize and deliver initiatives.
