Job summary

Southern Company is seeking an Infrastructure Programs & Projects Manager in Atlanta to lead a team of professionals responsible for planning, governing, prioritizing, and delivering programs that improve organizational effectiveness and reduce technical debt. The role partners with Technology Planning and executive leadership to drive strategic initiatives and measurable business value.

The candidate will drive governance, budget management, and strategic planning across Infrastructure

Qualifications

Eight (8)+ years of experience in technology, program management, or related disciplines.
Four (4)+ years of leading cross-functional teams and programs.
Experience with IT budgets or cost allocation.
Experience governing, prioritizing, and delivering multiple projects.
Experience developing business cases and investment recommendations.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage Infrastructure Services programs, governance processes, and project delivery.
Provide leadership for the Technology Planning Analyst function and strategic planning.
Partner with executive leaders to align priorities and ensure funded initiatives.
Develop budgets, business cases, and investment recommendations.
Foster accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement across the enterprise.
