Job summary

Alstom in West Mifflin, PA is seeking an Industrial Planner to develop and optimize production schedules, coordinating with engineering, procurement, and logistics to align material flow and capacity planning.

You will drive lean practices, analyze capacity and demand data, and ensure on-time delivery through SAP/Oracle ERP and MRP tools, contributing to a resilient and scalable rail manufacturing operation.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in supply chain, engineering, or business administration.
3 years of experience in supply chain or planning (preferred).
Proficiency in ERP systems like SAP or Oracle for production planning.
Strong understanding of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
Ability to interpret capacity and demand data to optimize workflows.
Experience coordinating with supply chain and engineering teams to align production goals.
Knowledge of industrial planning tools such as MRP.

Responsibilities

Develop and optimize production schedules to ensure scalability and alignment with project milestones.
