Job summary

McGough Construction is seeking an Industrial EPC Project Manager to lead multi-discipline engineering efforts across design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and turnover. The role emphasizes managing project scope, schedule, cost, and safety while coordinating with owners, design partners, subcontractors, and suppliers.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years in EPC/industrial project management, experience in self-perform and unionized labor, and strong communication and risk management

Qualifications

• 5+ years of EPC or industrial project management experience.
• Experience leading multi-discipline deliverables through design and execution.
• Experience with self-perform and unionized labor environments.
• Knowledge of EPC contracting models (lump sum and cost-plus).
• Strong analytical, risk management, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own overall project leadership from design through turnover.
• Manage engineering, procurement, and construction to meet milestones.
• Maintain safety, quality, and cost performance targets.
• Develop EPC execution plan and risk registers.
• Lead design reviews, HAZOPs, and constructability sessions.
• Negotiate major subcontracts and vendor agreements.
• Mentor and lead cross-functional project teams.
• Maintain client and partner relationships.
