Job summary

Westlake Chemical seeks a Category Manager to lead indirect spend for North America HIP and PEM divisions. You will develop and execute strategic sourcing, manage the preferred supplier base, and drive cost reductions across services and equipment.

You will negotiate contracts, collaborate with Legal and HS&E, and lead cross-functional teams to meet KPI targets and EBITDA goals while ensuring safety and compliance throughout the supply chain.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Engineering, Supply Chain/Procurement or related field; master's beneficial.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in manufacturing, refining or petrochemicals.
• Knowledge of plant purchasing, contract negotiations and management.
• Strong communication, presentation and analytical skills; SAP experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develops and executes sourcing strategies for assigned indirect categories.
• Identify cost reduction opportunities and negotiate contracts with suppliers.
• Lead cross-functional teams to implement category objectives and KPI targets.
• Conduct market analyses and manage supplier relationships for value delivery.
