The role emphasizes category governance, cost and performance management, sourcing events, negotiations, supplier relationships, and cross-functional collaboration with Supply Chain, Finance, Legal, and operations

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of related experience.
• Sourcing and category management experience with demonstrated ownership of category strategies, supplier market analysis, stakeholder governance, demand management, and value creation.
• Demonstrated ability to negotiate and manage contracts, ensuring alignment with service level agreements and cost targets.
• Track record of identifying and implementing cost-saving opportunities as well as broader value levers, including cost avoidance, total cost of ownership improvement, risk mitigation, supplier innovation, and working capital improvement.
• Exposure to a global supply base.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and execution of category plans and global sourcing strategies leveraging industry trends, market insights, spend analytics, and stakeholder priorities.
• Align procurement goals with business objectives and operational needs; act as strategic advisor to business leaders.
• Establish category governance routines with stakeholder alignment and compliance to strategies.
• Negotiate complex contracts and SOWs in collaboration with legal and compliance teams.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with service providers.
• Lead business reviews with key suppliers to assess performance and drive continuous improvement.
