Job summary

Fermi America is building Project Matador, a 17GW private power and AI infrastructure campus in the Texas Panhandle. The Procurement Specialist manages end-to-end sourcing and purchasing for indirect goods and services, owning supplier relationships and ensuring policy compliance while driving cost savings.

The role balances tactical execution with strategic category thinking and manages a full sourcing cycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business administration, or related field.
• 3–5 years in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain.
• Experience with ERP/procurement systems.
• Strong Excel skills and spend data analysis.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage requisition-to-PO process for assigned categories.
• Source, evaluate, and select suppliers via RFQs/RFPs; negotiate terms.
• Monitor supplier performance against SLAs and KPIs.
• Identify cost-savings opportunities within spend categories.
• Track open POs and expedite orders to prevent delays.
• Ensure purchasing activity complies with policy, approvals, and budget.
