Job summary

EssilorLuxottica seeks a Category Manager - Indirect Procurement to own category strategies across designated spend areas. You will apply analytical rigor, cost modeling, market intelligence, and data-driven decision making to optimize total cost, service levels, and supplier performance.

You will partner with internal stakeholders to design multi-year category plans, lead RFIs/RFPs, and ensure compliant, value-driven procurement outcomes across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• 3-6 years of relevant business experience in procurement or category management.
• Experience running competitive bid events (RFI/RFQ/RFP) and implementing category strategies.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic sourcing initiatives, including RFIs, RFQs, and RFPs across spend categories.
• Conduct financial analyses and Excel-based models to support recommendations.
• Lead cross-functional project teams on category initiatives and supplier transitions.
• Evaluate supplier performance using KPIs and drive improvements where needed.
• Develop and execute multi-year category strategies aligned with business goals.
