Job summary

CANADEM and WHO invite applications for a Supply Chain Planning Officer (P3) based in Jerusalem, oPt. The role leads end‑to‑end planning across Gaza and the West Bank, aligning demand with procurement, inventory, and distribution to sustain health supplies in a challenging humanitarian setting.

The officer builds integrated plans, manages pipelines, analyzes capacity, and delivers dashboards and routine reporting to support senior management decisions under dynamic access and logistics

Qualifications

• Advanced university degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, operations management, engineering, economics or another relevant field.
• Professional certification or specialised training in supply‑chain management is desirable.
• Minimum five years of progressively responsible professional experience in supply‑chain management, logistics, supply planning, procurement planning or related functions.
• Experience in demand planning, pipeline management, inventory planning and/or supply-chain analysis.
• Experience developing analytical reports, dashboards or decision‑support products.

Responsibilities

• Lead integrated supply‑chain planning for WHO oPt across Gaza and the West Bank.
• Consolidate requirements into forward supply plans and translate them to planning timelines.
• Develop rolling short‑, medium‑ and longer‑term supply outlooks (3–6 months).
• Monitor procurement lead times, stock levels, pipelines and expiry risks.
• Maintain end‑to‑end pipeline visibility from demand to distribution.
• Support forecasting and prioritisation when supply is constrained.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Logistics and Health Operations.
• Establish KPI dashboards and reporting for performance reviews.
• Identify bottlenecks and recommend contingency actions.
• Ensure data quality and cross‑functional coordination across teams.
• Support partner coordination and information sharing within safeguards.
• Provide timely management information for decision making.
