Job summary

Summit Utilities, Inc. is seeking a Senior Human Resources Business Partner (SGL18) for a hybrid role based in Arkansas (Little Rock, Fort Smith, Fayetteville, or Maumelle).

You will be the strategic advisor to leaders, linking people strategies to business priorities and handling complex employee relations and investigations. You will collaborate with Compensation, Benefits, Talent Acquisition, Payroll, Learning & Development, HRIS, Legal and other HR partners to deliver integrated solutions

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in HR, business administration or related field.
• Minimum of five years of progressive, client-facing HRBP or HR generalist experience.
• Experience advising leaders and managing complex employee relations and investigations.
• Experience supporting corporate and field-based or industrial teams preferred.
• HR certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR or SPHR) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary HR advisor to leaders for assigned units, understanding operations and priorities.
• Coach leaders on workforce planning, performance, engagement, retention, and change.
• Independently manage complex employee relations, investigations, and separations; document findings.
• Collaborate on organizational design, talent development, and lifecycle activities.
• Coordinate with Compensation, Benefits, Talent Acquisition, Payroll, and other HR functions to deliver integrated solutions.
