Range is hiring an HR Business Partner to work directly with leaders to improve manager effectiveness, performance outcomes, and team health. This role requires high autonomy, sound judgment, and a deep understanding of how people practices drive business results.

Qualifications

• 7+ years experience as an HRBP in a fast-growing startup (SaaS preferred).
• Strong coaching and influencing skills across all levels of the organization.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and make independent, business-minded judgments.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted advisor to managers on performance management and team effectiveness.
• Lead and execute performance review cycles, calibrations, and talent discussions.
• Coach leaders through complex employee situations including PIP and terminations.
• Manage employee relations matters with leadership and legal/PEO resources.
• Identify patterns and systemic issues and propose scalable solutions.
• Partner with Head of People to ensure consistent people practices.
• Help define expectations for leadership and people management at Range.
