Job summary

The role partners with a PEO and external HR consultant, ensuring audit-ready records, compliance with California employment law, and effective performance and conduct management. You will drive recruitment, onboarding, background checks, policy administration, people analytics, and learning

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or related field.
• Three or more years of HR experience covering recruiting, onboarding and employee relations.
• Experience maintaining personnel records in a regulated environment.
• Working knowledge of California employment law; recognition when counsel is required.
• Proficiency with HRIS, ATS, and LMS.
• Valid CA driver's license and insurance.
• Ability to pass DOJ and FBI background clearance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee onboarding, credentialing, and compliance records.
• Lead training and development initiatives.
• Provide employee relations support to supervisors.
• Manage leave coordination and accommodation processes.
• Administer policy suite, records, and people analytics.
• Manage recruiting lifecycle from intake to start date logistics.
