Job summary

C Lazy U in Colorado is seeking an Human Resources Manager to lead the HR team and oversee talent acquisition, onboarding, employee relations, and compliance. The role partners with the VP of Accounting & HR to align HR initiatives with Ranch objectives and total rewards programs.

Key duties include managing a high-volume seasonal workforce, immigration processes, benefits administration, and safety compliance while driving engagement and organizational development across the campus and housing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resource management or related field.
• 3–5 years of progressive experience in Human Resources; 1–2 years supervisory experience.
• Experience in high-volume, seasonal hospitality environments strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of HR best practices and employment laws, including Title VII, FLSA, FMLA, ADEA, ADAAA, DOL.
• SPHR and/or SHRM certification a plus.
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
• Working experience with Paylocity or other HRIS platforms required, including management reports.

Responsibilities

• Oversees HR function and day‑to‑day operations of the HR team.
• Leads talent acquisition, onboarding, and employee housing & event coordination.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal employment laws and regulations.
• Manage immigration processes and regulatory compliance in partnership with legal.
• Oversee safety, workers’ compensation, and OSHA reporting.
• Partner with leadership to improve engagement, retention, and total rewards.
• Lead development and succession planning and mentor direct reports.
