Job summary

Oak Harbor Freight Lines, Inc. is seeking Forklift Operators/Dock Workers to support our regional trucking operations across multiple states. The role requires safe operation of material handling equipment, accurate recordkeeping, and flexible shift availability to meet business needs.

Candidates should have a High School Diploma or GED and prior warehouse or forklift experience. Strong English communication and basic math skills are essential to ensure safe, efficient cargo handling and

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or GED strongly preferred.
• Warehouse or similar experience preferred, forklift experience highly preferred.
• Basic arithmetic and measurement skills required.
• Positive, clear communication with customers, co-workers and dispatch.
• Experience in LTL operation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate material handling equipment competently.
• Record counts and condition notes to minimize cargo claims.
• Process paperwork: delivery receipts, bills of lading, manifests and related documents.
• Regroup shipments as needed.
• Meet reliability standards and be available for various shifts.
