Job summary

Nevada Health Centers is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner to integrate HR into clinical and operations teams in Elko, NV. Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, you will drive HR initiatives, develop leadership and organizational programs, and guide policy and workforce strategies to support our strategic plan.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR or closely related field OR equivalent professional human resources experience.
• Experience partnering with leadership to implement HR initiatives.
• Strong coaching, influencing, facilitation, presentation, communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Form partnerships across the organization to deliver HR services to leadership and associates that help achieve business objectives.
• Maintain business acumen about healthcare operations and FQHCs.
• Analyze business unit trends to develop HR solutions and policies.
• Provide guidance on workforce planning and succession planning.
• Counsel leaders on HR policies, employee relations and performance issues.
• Partner with leaders on performance management, engagement surveys and training needs.
• Ensure compliance with HR, legal and regulatory requirements.
• Coach and mentor leaders and associates.
• Diagnose issues with data and lead large organizational projects.
• Manage recruitment processes including posting, screening, interviewing and onboarding.
• Administer compensation, benefits, pension, and workers' comp programs.
• Assist with annual performance management and equity.
• Promote workplace diversity through fair hiring.
• Design and implement employee and leadership training.
• Participate in special HR projects.
• Communicate policies and resolve issues with leadership and staff.
• Support corporate initiatives.
