Steele Solutions Inc. in Milwaukee, WI is seeking an experienced HR Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day HR operations across multiple locations. You will drive standardization, maintain data integrity, and lead compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field, 5+ years in HR operations, and strong HRIS/payroll proficiency. SHRM certifications and manufacturing experience are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in human resources operations or HR management.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and HR best practices.
• Proven experience managing HR teams and driving operational excellence.
• Proficiency with HRIS systems and payroll administration.
• Preferred HR certifications such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR.
• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is a plus.
• Demonstrated success in leading process improvement initiatives within HR operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage HR operations across multiple locations, ensuring consistent execution of HR programs, policies, procedures, and employee services.
• Serve as the primary owner of HR operational processes, driving standardization and best practices across all facilities.
• Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and maintenance of employee records across locations.
• Administer HR policies, procedures, and SOPs while ensuring compliance with employment regulations.
• Support talent acquisition activities, including recruitment processes, onboarding coordination, system access, and new hire integration.
• Partner with business leaders to address employee relations, performance management, workforce planning, and organizational effectiveness initiatives.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives that enhance HR service delivery and reduce risk.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and development to HR team members.
