Morris Group, Inc. in Windsor, CT is seeking a hands-on HR operations leader who thrives in execution, process improvement, and developing teams.

The successful candidate will partner with senior leadership to drive strategic initiatives and lead the day-to-day HR functions. This fully onsite role requires strong expertise in staffing, compensation, employee relations, and HRIS management, with a focus on compliant, scalable processes and meaningful talent development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or related field.
• At least five (5) years of management experience in the Human Resources field.
• This is a full‑time on‑site position (must be willing to work 8am-5pm in the office, Mon‑Friday) in Windsor, CT.
• Must possess strong to advanced competence in HRIS; ER; Compensation; and Recruiting.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute staffing, recruiting, compensation, and retention strategies aligned with organizational goals.
• Provide broad oversight of the Employee Relations Team, including recruiting, disciplinary actions, employee issues, and inquiries; act as strategic advisor on complex employee relations and staffing matters.
• Provide oversight of key annual processes, including performance reviews and EEO/AAP reporting.
• Lead HRIS initiatives and report on HR data to support decision making.
• Deliver organizational communications (open enrollment, wellness, merit cycles, engagement).
• Participate in quarterly Talent Reviews and collaborate with L&D and HR teams on follow‑up actions.
