Job summary

LHH Recruitment Solutions partners with a growing manufacturing company in the St. Paul area to identify an experienced Human Resources Manager. This role blends strategic partnership with hands-on HR operations, including employee relations, compliance, recruiting, benefits, and performance management.

UKG administration and reporting are central to this position. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of HR experience, manufacturing exposure, and strong knowledge of employment laws.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in HR/Business Admin or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive HR experience.
• HR Manager or HRBP experience preferred.
• Hands-on with UKG required.
• Strong knowledge of employment laws (federal/state/local).
• Experience supporting manufacturing/multi-site environments.
• Professional HR certification preferred (PHR/SPHR/SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP).
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with site leadership on workforce needs, succession, retention, and development strategies.
• Lead full-cycle recruitment for exempt and non-exempt roles and onboarding initiatives.
• Provide guidance on employee relations, investigations, and performance management.
• Maintain HRIS data integrity and generate HR metrics to inform decisions.
• Support compensation and benefits administration with vendors and internal teams.
