Job summary

IDEX is seeking an HR Manager to serve as a strategic HR leader and business partner, handling talent acquisition, onboarding, payroll, leaves, benefits, and compliance. The role partners with leaders to support business objectives, strengthen culture, and ensure policy adherence.

This onsite role in Punta Gorda, FL requires collaboration across departments, HR analytics, safety coordination, and continuous process improvements, with a compensation range and bonus potential described.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5+ years progressive HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience supporting recruitment, employee relations, payroll, benefits administration, leave management, and HR compliance.
• Experience conducting workplace investigations and managing employee relations matters.

Responsibilities

• Lead full-cycle recruiting, onboarding, and workforce planning activities.
• Address employee relations, performance management, and organizational effectiveness matters.
• Conduct workplace investigations and manage corrective action processes.
• Administer payroll processes and resolve payroll-related issues.
• Manage employee benefits programs, open enrollment activities, and employee inquiries.
• Administer leave of absence programs, including FMLA, ADA accommodations, workers' compensation, and return-to-work processes.
• Lead performance management, talent review, succession planning, and employee development initiatives.
• Coordinate employee engagement activities and develop action plans to improve workplace culture.
• Maintain HRIS data integrity and employee records.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
• Prepare and analyze HR metrics, reports, and workforce trends to support business decisions.
• Partner with EHS and operational leaders on safety, workers' compensation, and employee well-being initiatives.
• Recommend and implement HR process improvements that support operational excellence.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee and organizational information.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
