Job summary

IDEX is seeking an HR Business Partner to support manufacturing site and functional leaders with strategic HR guidance. You will collaborate with the HR Director of MSS Global Operations to address employee relations, performance, and workforce development across sites.

The role requires partnering with leaders on organizational design, talent needs, and succession planning, while ensuring compliance with laws and internal policies in a dynamic, manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Strong working knowledge of employee relations practices, investigations, performance management, and corrective action processes.
• Ability to coach and influence leaders through complex and sensitive people matters.
• Strong judgment and discretion when handling confidential information.
• Ability to interpret and apply HR policies, procedures, and employment laws consistently.
• Proficiency with HR systems and standard business software tools (Workday, KRONOS, Microsoft Office).

Responsibilities

• Partner with site and functional leaders to support people-related decision-making and leadership effectiveness to drive business objectives and organizational performance.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders on workforce planning, organizational effectiveness, and talent needs.
• Support organizational design by assessing capability needs, role clarity, and structural alignment with business goals.
• Work with hiring managers and TA team to recruit and onboard employees to meet current and future company growth needs.
• Coach leaders on performance management, feedback, accountability, and employee development.
• Lead and support complex and sensitive employee relations matters in partnership with the HR Manager.
• Gather leader and employee feedback to inform continuous improvement of HR programs, processes, and policies.
