Job summary

RCA - Recovery Centers of America Management Company in Monroeville, PA, is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead the HR function at the site, partnering with leadership to drive employee engagement, compliance, retention, and operational excellence.

You will oversee benefits, HRIS, payroll coordination, performance management, compensation, policy administration, and regulatory compliance, while developing workforce strategies with Talent Acquisition and training teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or a related field.
• PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification preferred.
• Experience in HR within healthcare or regulated environments is strongly preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication, judgment, and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day HR operations and ensure compliant, employee-centered practices.
• Recruit, develop, coach, and retain HR staff as applicable.
• Partner with leaders on employee relations, investigations, performance counseling, and separations.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws (FMLA, wage/hour, workers’ comp, OSHA, EEO).
• Administer leave programs and educate employees/managers on processes.
• Oversee benefits administration, including plan design, enrollment, and budget with Finance.
• Oversee performance management, job descriptions, evaluations, and compensation recommendations.
• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition and operations on workforce planning and onboarding.
• Coordinate new-hire orientation and policy/handbook communications.
• Develop, update, and review HR policies, forms, and education materials.
• Support culture, engagement, retention, and leadership development.
