Job summary

Cherokee Federal is seeking an Operations Support Specialist to assist our Northern Virginia client with administrative, HR, and project management tasks, including digitizing processes and improving workflows.

The role requires TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph, U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status, and a strong background in strategy development, workflow optimization, and executive support. This is a full-time position with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Ten years of work experience required.
• Seven or more years of experience in strategy development and/or workflow optimization.
• Bachelor’s degree required; three years of additional experience accepted in lieu of a degree.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
• Experience with Bluescape and Skype.

Responsibilities

• Digitize processes using Bluescape, Skype, and other tools.
• Identify bottlenecks and standardize procedures to boost efficiency.
• Maintain accurate records, track actions and deadlines, and compile reports.
• Coordinate calendars and meetings; document decisions and follow up.
• Conduct interviews and document observations for program initiatives.
• Develop strategies for operational programs and training pipelines.
• Assist with documenting standards and collecting feedback.
• Support communications with senior leadership and front-office interactions.
• Prepare executive leadership communications reflecting programs and progress.
• Assist with summits and conferences, including equipment preparation.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
