Job summary

Cherokee Federal is seeking an HR Management Analyst to provide comprehensive HR support across EUR-IO/EX/HR, handling administrative and analytical duties, interpreting legislation, and guiding HR policy.

The role includes drafting documentation, tracking HR actions, supporting the Resources Director, coordinating with GEC teams, and contributing to special projects and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Associate's or bachelor's degree in business management related to Human Resources.
• Minimum of three (3) years of professional work experience related to HR.
• Thorough knowledge of HR processes and related HR concepts.
• Experience drafting guidance and memoranda addressing HR and operational issues.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide variety of administrative and analytical duties related to staffing, organizational management, presentations and meeting support, and tracking HR processes.
• Review, analyze, and interpret legislation, HR regulations, OPM directives, and other guidelines pertaining to HR responsibilities.
• Provide backup support to other Resources staff within the GEC.
• Monitor HR processes with focus on efficiency, accountability, and records management.
• Develop strategies and implement efficiencies consistent with regulations to address needs.
• Prepare briefing materials and assist in defending submissions at the Departmental level.
• Advise managers on position classifications and drafting descriptions; utilize generic descriptions.
