AGCO in Morton, IL is seeking a Manager of Human Resources to lead HR programs across Morton and Tremont. You will partner with local leadership on workforce planning, policies, and HR operations while ensuring compliance with US and Illinois laws.

Responsibilities include coordinating HR services, overseeing recruiting and benefits, and analyzing market data to inform local HR practices. This onsite role emphasizes collaboration with global HR strategies and business priorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or equivalent.
• 6-8 years of progressive HR experience across multiple HR functions (recruitment, compensation/benefits, employee relations, compliance, learning and development).
• Working knowledge of labor laws, regulations, and employment compliance requirements.
• Experience executing HR programs, processes, and personnel transactions in a complex organization.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills; ability to influence without direct authority.
• Proven ability to handle sensitive employee matters with discretion and integrity.

Responsabilités

• Implement and manage core HR programs for Morton, IL and Tremont, IL locations, aligning with global HR strategy and Job Architecture standards.
• Translate global HR policies into locally compliant practices and escalate risks as needed.
• Serve as trusted HR partner to local leadership on workforce planning and people-related decisions within policies and business plans.
• Coordinate and supervise daily activities of an HR support/operations team, setting priorities to ensure timely delivery of HR services.
• Allocate work, monitor progress, and ensure task completion across recruiting, employee services, benefits administration, and HR operations.
• Provide coaching, feedback, and development support to HR team members, reinforcing compliance and continuous improvement.
• Spend no more than ~20% of time on supervised work; focus on coordination, oversight, and problem resolution.
• Oversee recruiting and staffing operations for Morton and Tremont, ensuring alignment with job architecture and compensation ranges.
