Job summary

Lennox Commercial seeks an experienced HR leader to support approximately 450 employees across the HVAC business. You will lead a small HR team, partner with senior leaders, and drive talent, engagement, and organizational effectiveness in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a strong business acumen, knowledge of HR best practices, and a proven ability to translate strategy into practical HR solutions that enhance the employee experience. This is an in-office role in Richardson, TX.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; 8+ years HR experience expected.
• Strong business acumen linking people strategies to business outcomes.
• Experience supporting distribution, field sales, or similar business groups preferred.
• Solid knowledge of employment regulations and HR best practices.
• Experience handling employee relations matters with sound judgment and care.
• Ability to build relationships, foster open communication, and resolve conflicts effectively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong leadership and project management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as trusted HR partner to business leaders on employee relations, performance management, and labor relations.
• Lead change-management efforts to support priorities and HR initiatives.
• Own talent agenda: succession planning, leadership development, and workforce planning.
• Recommend practical HR process improvements and drive implementation.
• Manage cross-functional HR projects from planning to execution.
• Coach and develop a two-person HR team to deliver effective support.
• Drive employee engagement and data-driven insights to inform decisions.
• Leverage workforce analytics to diagnose challenges and inform strategies.
