Job summary

Sensient Technologies Corporation is seeking an on-site Human Resources Manager for our Turlock, California manufacturing facility. You will partner with business leaders, champion employee engagement, and navigate complex employee relations to shape our workforce.

The role leads investigations, delivers training, supports performance management, and oversees benefits while ensuring compliance with employment laws and company policies.

Qualifications

• HR leadership experience in a manufacturing/production or operations setting.
• Ability to partner with business leaders and influence outcomes.
• Proven experience conducting employee relations investigations with discretion.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and HR best practices.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills; bilingual preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders to provide strategic HR guidance while ensuring compliance.
• Lead employee relations matters, investigations, and conflict resolution.
• Manage workers' compensation, legal claims, workplace incidents, and regulatory matters with counsel and carriers.
• Develop and deliver training programs, coach leaders, support performance management, and oversee benefits administration.
• Guide employee separations, including layoffs and exit interviews, with a positive experience.
• Lead and conduct complex employee relations investigations with proper documentation.
