Job summary

Pacific Staffing is seeking a Human Resources Manager to lead HR for a prominent construction client in the greater Sacramento region with multi-state presence. The role drives employee relations, talent acquisition, performance management, compliance, training, and culture across all entities.

Ideal candidates will have 7+ years in HR, leadership experience, and a strong background in construction or industrial services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Admin, or related field.
• SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or PHR/SPHR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead HR staff and drive department accountability and KPI achievement.
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and retention programs and succession planning.
• Foster a compliant, positive workplace aligned with core values and culture.
• Ensure employment law compliance and coordinate with Safety and DOT teams.
• Develop compensation structures and oversee benefits, payroll, and HRIS.
