Job summary

AMETEK is seeking an HR Generalist to support day-to-day administration of corporate HR programs. You will handle onboarding, offboarding, file maintenance, and communications, while ensuring policy compliance across the organization.

The role requires a Bachelor's in HR with 5+ years experience and familiarity with AI tools to improve productivity. Strong confidentiality, communication, and analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree required and 5+ years HR experience in a corporate setting.
• Experience using AI tools to improve productivity and decision-making.
• Desired HR certifications: PHR/SPHR/SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP.

Responsibilities

• Support onboarding: pre/post hire comms, background checks, I-9, new-hire paperwork, orientation, and cross-department coordination.
• Conduct offboarding activities including exit interviews and final pay.
• Maintain employee files and conduct periodic audits.
• Distribute announcements for new hires and promotions.
• Prepare routine and ad-hoc HR reports and data analyses.
• Assist with benefits open enrollment and enrollment changes.
• Support annual performance goal setting and reviews; STI processes.
• Code and process HR invoices; administer tuition reimbursement.
• Handle unemployment claims and provide back-up coverage to Reception.
• Support other HR projects and special assignments.
