Job summary

Toray Advanced Composites Usa, Inc. in Morgan Hill, CA is seeking an HR Generalist III for a full-time role.

You will partner with leadership and employees to drive HR strategies, including policy creation, employee relations, benefits, training and development, and compliance with federal and state laws. The position requires a Bachelor’s degree and at least six years of HR experience; manufacturing or composites experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
• Minimum 6 years of experience in Human Resources
• Manufacturing or composites experience preferred
• Proficiency with HRIS - ADP software preferred
• Comprehensive understanding of HR compliance and employment laws
• Ability to manage difficult/complex employee relations issues
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
• Maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive matters effectively
• Ability to influence without authority and develop relationships at all levels
• Ability to drive change management initiatives

Responsibilities

• Partner with leadership to drive HR strategies including development, engagement and performance management
• Serve as point of contact for employee relations for leadership and staff
• Ensure leaders are trained on handling employee relations and fairness of processes
• Create, educate and provide resources on employment, benefits, leaves, training
• Evaluate programs to improve engagement, development and retention
• Support and implement engagement initiatives across the company
• Collaborate with HR on benefits and wellness programs effectiveness
• Coordinate with departments on day-to-day HR needs and changes
• Maintain annual compensation planning with leaders and evaluate talent qualifications
• Manage training programs and performance appraisal processes
• Ensure legal compliance with federal/state requirements
• Support EHS in workers' compensation and safety initiatives
