Vaco Arizona is partnering with a top company in North Phoenix to hire an experienced HR Director. This high-impact leadership role oversees all HR and Talent Acquisition functions and serves as a strategic partner to executive leadership.

Compensation is up to $200,000 depending on experience. You will lead workforce strategies, ensure compliance, and foster a culture of engagement across construction, engineering, manufacturing settings, with broad responsibility for employee relations,

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive HR leadership experience.
• Proven experience leading both Human Resources and Talent Acquisition functions.
• Strong knowledge of employment law, employee relations, compensation, benefits, and compliance
• Experience supporting regulated industries (construction, engineering, manufacturing, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary HR leader for the organization.
• Partner with executive leadership on workforce and people strategies.
• Lead full-cycle recruiting efforts for both hourly and salaried employees.
• Manage employee relations and resolve workplace issues.
• Oversee compensation, benefits, performance management, and compliance programs.
• Develop and improve HR policies, procedures, and training programs.
• Support leadership development and succession planning initiatives.
• Work closely with safety teams on workers' compensation and return-to-work programs.
• Foster a positive culture focused on employee engagement and retention.
• Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and organizational effectiveness.
