Job summary

River Rock Casino is seeking an experienced HR Director to lead Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Benefits, Communications, Training, and Team Member Relations. The role drives cultural leadership and strategic development in a dynamic tribal gaming environment.

The ideal candidate has seven+ years in HR, including five in management, with strong knowledge of employment laws and confidentiality. This senior role reports to the CEO and shapes HR strategy.

Qualifications

• Minimum seven years in Human Resources with at least five in a Manager/Director role.
• Gaming HR experience preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of current employment laws, regulations, and best practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proven leadership skills with collaborative approach.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Talent Acquisition, compensation, benefits, communications, training, team member relations and culture.
• Develop and oversee a cohesive compensation plan and conduct wage surveys.
• Provide strategic oversight of health insurance, retirement plans, PTO and workers' compensation.
• Develop short and long-term HR strategies and annual budgets; oversee internal communications.
• Coordinate training activities including orientation and mandatory programs.
• Mentor and lead a high-performing HR team; engage with executive leadership.
