Job summary

Laradon in Denver, CO is seeking an experienced Human Resources Director to oversee the organization’s HR functions, including employee relations, talent acquisition, compensation and benefits, training, compliance, and safety.

You will provide strategic and operational HR leadership, partner with senior management on workforce planning, and supervise HR staff to ensure ethical, compliant practices and data-driven decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in HR/Business or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of progressive HR experience.
• Minimum 3 years of HR leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight for all HR operations and initiatives.
• Partner with organizational leadership on strategic planning, workforce development, and employee engagement.
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, retention, performance management, employee relations, and offboarding.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
• Develop, implement, and update HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Supervise and support HR staff through coaching, development, and performance management.
• Oversee compensation, benefits administration, leave management, and HRIS processes.
• Provide guidance to managers regarding employee relations, investigations, and performance concerns.
• Partner with leadership to support culture, staff development, and succession planning.
• Monitor HR metrics and trends to support data-informed decision-making.
• Coordinate training and development initiatives for staff and leadership.
