Job summary

Frey Consulting Group in the United States seeks a Director of Human Resources to oversee day-to-day HR operations, ensure compliant and reliable delivery of HR processes, and implement scalable programs to enhance onboarding, engagement, performance, retention and leadership effectiveness.

The Director partners with executives to drive continuous improvement, strengthen the employee experience, and deliver results across the organization, including multi-state compliance and workforce planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field.
• Active HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP) preferred.
• 8–12+ years of advanced HR experience at manager/director level.
• Experience leading HR initiatives across multiple HR functions in high growth environments.
• Experience overseeing HR in multi-state environments.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state and local employment laws.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage day-to-day HR Operations, ensuring compliant and effective service delivery.
• Own and enhance onboarding to support culture, productivity and engagement.
• Develop and implement forward-thinking HR programs, tools and processes.
• Advise leaders on employee relations, performance management and workforce planning.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and mitigate HR risk.
• Monitor regulatory changes and update policies and processes accordingly.
• Oversee the employee handbook and HR policies for accuracy.
• Collaborate to develop compensation, engagement and retention strategies.
• Advise managers on performance, investigations and conflict resolution.
